I roll over to find I can no longer tell the difference between your head and the pillow, my heartbeat and the ticking of the clock.
Kitchen. Coffee. Table. Mug.
I look down to find my hands have melded to this cup, and the backs of your legs have been welded to that chair.
I just remembered I forgot, there used to be movement here.
Movement then, stillness now. Difference there, nothing here.
An expansion of The Coin Toss, a four minute work crafted out of riskful first instincts and performed in 2017 at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. The belief that these instincts are the elements which allow human consciousness to uncover new discoveries is further explored through The Hidden Revealed.


Jamie has always been the guy that falls too hard, too fast. So when he meets Alice, he thinks he has found his future wife. The only problem is, Alice doesn’t see it that way. So Jamie does what any other guy would do in this situation: Jamie tries again. And again. And again. Like all romantic leads before him, Jamie will keep trying until Alice is with him forever.
